aftermath

assorted writings

This may be the most fascinating page of all. Entries from "The End of Our World" contest that did not quite meet our requirements for short stories but are far too good to reject. We take a very formal, literary view of short stories with regard to plot, characterization, narrative, etc. and especially the factual truth of any statements about the environment. On this page we are much more tolerant. Here we welcome any good writings relevant to the state of our (natural) world and our relationship with it, regardless of form. They may be essays, personal reflections, dreams, rants, raw expressions of emotion, whether or not disguised as stories, and may even contain fantastic elements and minor factual inaccuracies. Naturally this is done with the disclaimer that all the views expressed on this page belong solely to the authors and not to us.
